Whaaaaaaat?

GM is axle mounted reluctor rings in the wheel bearing assembly.

8.25 IFS Front
8.625 Rear

8.5 or 8.6 gears (they are the same) Carriers and install kits are different.

ABS Light will be on, yes. Get a Tune. Most tuners will do just a gear adjustment for 80-100 bux. Or get a full tune for 250-300 and get a few extra ponies.

Tuners: Black Bear, Nelson Performance, etc...

EDIT: I am a tard... 2wd. No ABS sensors on these trucks in the rear, only front mounted sensors and VSS on tranny

Do yourself a favor. If this is your first time, buy 1 to 2 extra crush sleeves.

Use the stock pinion shim size, usually .035.
