I want as much horsepower as I can get out of the 6 L in my four-wheel-drive mud bugging Tahoe any ideas what parts I should use to modify the 6 L has anyone ever done this swap

 

Use the search function. You have a lot of reading to do. A 6.0 swap is one of the most common mods around. It is a direct swap using all of your current parts.

The more go-fast you put into that 6.0 the sooner you're going to have to find an alternative to your stock transmission. Start looking into the 4x4 4l80e swap as well. My stock one has held up 9 months to significant abuse, but its only a matter of time.

 

My trans held up 6 months before it wore out, and I only have a 5.7
