Default 285/70/17 questions

It's TAX RETURN TIME!!!!! So what better way to spend it. . . tires. I am going to keep the stock suspension other than crank my t bars just a little bit. I need a tire with some offroad performance for hunting season, I have had Firestone Destination m/ts before and I loved them. I think I'm going to run those on my stock wheels. Just curious to see what yall thought of it. Let me know. Here is a pic of my truck, non cranked.

I think your truck would look good leveled out with some bigger tires

Ive ran 285's on my truck and have since switched to 255 75 17...Towing with the 285's was a pain and i have 3.73's..When i put the narrower 255 on it it pulled alot better and i gained 2mpg on the hwy..

iv run 285/70r17 for the last 2 yrs on 2 different trucks.
im a fan of BFG KOs.
I'm thinkin about trying hancook ATMs.
IDk if either of them are as agressive as your looking for.
I do do hunting and fishing down here in south texas, but the ATs are beffy enough for what i need them for.

Andrew, those 255s look good!

liftedz - Truck looks good with A/Ts. I don't really need anything more aggressive than an A/T either, but I just couldn't help myself.

I ordered 285 Firestone Destination M/Ts. They came in the afternoon and I'm getting them mounted tomorrow. I'm pumped up!! I'll post pics up tomorrow.

They look pretty good! I'll try and snap some pics this evening, I need to crank my bars a hair so it levels out. If I don't get to it this evening, I'll get some soon! I'm glad I made the jump. Thanks yall for your help.
