Default 2000 silverado lift

I own a 2000 silverado with a 3 inch body ad re-torqued torsion bars running 36 inch swampers. My question is that I was looking under the truck and was wondering if theres any way that I could fab up a spacer block to go between the front axle assembly and frame. If that would work then I guess that I could put the torsion bar crossmember on the bottom side of the frame to aliveiate that angle. What else would I need?

It wouldn't be a block, it would have to be custom brackets, then you would have to lower the control arms with brackets. its much easier to just buy a kit and a whole lot safer

You really need at least a 6 in. lift for that tall of a tire.
