2" RC Level + 1.25" BL Install (with pics)
#1
Alright guys... here you go.
I don't know how many guys have done the install, or plan to do the install, so I thought I'd post it up with some photo's to help anyone interested.
The install was pretty straight forward. In fact, I skipped a bunch of steps, which saved me considerable time. Here's the pics of the leveling kit install.
The Kit

Loosening the ball joint

Keep the nut in place (this will save you time when tightening everything up after the install is complete).

Loosen the sway bar

Leave the sway bar nuts on the end of the bolt

Loosen the lower strut bolts (remove the retainer clips after removing the bolts)

Tap the knuckle until the ball joint comes free (the entire assembly will fall free giving you the room to mount the leveling block)

Place the leveling block between the strut and the lower control arm and secure with the supplied bolts and washers in the kit.

Re-tighten the lower strut bolts, ball joint nut, and sway bar nuts.
Here's an install pic after completed.

The measurements before and after were:
36" from the ground to the top of the wheel well before.
38.25" after.
Here's a link to a video I found on youtube... I checked it out just before I installed the kit... it saved me a bunch of time.
I'll post up install pics of the body lift once I get a chance to do it, along with some pics of the truck after the tires are installed... that should also give me a chance to get it washed.
Hope this helps anybody interested in doing the same thing.
