My buddy just bought a 99 silverado 2500 with the 6.0. We want to put a 6" lift on it, and very familiar with these lifts, but heres the question i have if anyone knows. No one list a lift kit for the 99 2500 8 lug, only 01-07 2500 hd. I know the hd's have the the massive front bumper to compensate for the frame difference. The 99 2500 has the regular 1500 front end. Do we got with the 1500 lift kit, or with the newer hd kit. All kit list 6 lug applications for the 1500 which they should, but this truck seems to be just like the 1500, except the being a 3/4 ton, the frame doesnt even drop down that far like the newer ones. THis truck is 4x4 by the way, any ideas???
