16.5" is an industrial wheel. Unless you changed rims they will not seat properly on the stock 16" rims.

A 285/75R16 is going to be narrower and taller than most 33x12.50's. But regardless, on a 2500 4x4 they will fit with a minor trim of the lower front valance.

As long as the tires you're getting for it are made for a 16.5" rim then there won't be a problem. Besides having a lot of problems busting beads off roiad and the limited aftermarket, 16.5's are really just like any other wheel.

For the tires, it depends on the width and backspacing of your rims. It also depends if your truck is an HD or not. If it's not an HD and they're an 8" wide wheel with near stock backspacing, you should only have to trim a little.

Looks like in this picture this rim has about 6.5" of backspacing.

If you crank your torsion bars to level and the rims have around 4.75" of backspacing, you should only have to trim a little to make them fit.

One last question... What's the width of the rims?

If it's 8" or under, they should fit with a good crank and trimming. If they're 9", or even worse, 10" wide, the tires won't fit at all, and will need a lot of cranking and trimming. Neither of which are worth the headache they will cause.
