Making some progress. I think it has a decent width. Of course I wouldn't mind it wider. But still looks pretty good. The bedsides are pulled almost 2" per side. Front fenders are 2" flare also. So it doesn't look as wide as it is. Still have to set pinion angle and tack everything up.https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.per...637b9d357d.jpg

Was looking over the driveshaft. My truck came factory with 1350 U joints. Took dimensions to verify. They always looked like they would fit the yoke of the 14 bolt. Im not very familiar with different U joint sizes. Can't spot them visually. Also I've seen threads on cutting of 5/8" of driveshaft length doing a 14 bolt swap. My truck needs way more then that. Don't have any final measurements but, it's more then .750".

The factory 2 Piece drive shaft is 5/8 of an inch shorter than its 10bolt counter part. On a single shaft application you need to remove more.

On a regular cab truck I played with it was like 7/8 that it had to be shortened.

It's always best to measure. Who's to say the guy cutting the tubes didn't cut a hair longer or shorter from 1 day to the next. Or that one didn't shrink more than another based on how it was prepped and welded.

Also if you want to be extra beefy you can buy a 1410 yoke for the pinion.
