best bet is to do something like this: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/CHEVY...spagenameZWDVW

You won't need new shocks in the front and you can probably find some shocks off a stock z71 for cheap. That would look almost like my old setup on my truck:

That setup cost me:
Fabtech 3" spindles-$275
2" Coil Spacers(sat about 1" though)-$40
305/70/16 tires-$100
pro comp 16x8-$300
Shocks-$12.50 each

Everything I bought I got used in great condition. Basically I had that lift/rims/tires for <$800

They tires were 305/70/16. Something like a 11.5" tire.

Yea if you got the 4" spindles it would look almost identical to mine. I ran a 4" block though and it sat completely level(which seems weird to me). If I were you I'd run a 2" block.

Just know that I had to trim quite a bit to clear those. I think I would have had WAAY fewer problems if I ran 285/75/16's instead.

No I didn't use that ebay kit. I was merely suggesting it. My kit was listed below the picture and was a 3" spindle 2" coil spacer. I bought the block separate with ubolts for $20 shipped. The front really only sat about 4.5" though.

Every kit under $2500 is pointless to turn it into a prerunner. You need a longtravel setup with coil overs or at least the longtravel cst lift and to run those you need glassed fenders.

ahh then just get the spindles. They go on pretty easy, and the front will still ride as if it's stock. Everything goes back in their stock positions.
