I've got the same welder...and cart. About the perfect welder you can have for projects.

Maybe you could give me some advise. Ive been looking at the hobart handler 145. Would it be good for all around use? Ive been told the 20% duty cycle isnt the best? Im looking to do body work, exhaust, maybe even make motor mounts and suspension components. Would this be a ideal welder?

I have owned a cheap 110v, a most expensive lincoln 180 and this 210 hobart. The hobart is the best hands down. I do alot of sheet metal and exhaust fabbing. I have also done some frame mods. This welder is the best. Imo whatever size welder you think you need get the next size up.

Im just not too sure whats recommended. Would the 110 be good enough to weld spring perches and trailing arm brackets to rearends? And what about the %20 duty cycle? My buddy wants to sell me his pratically new 145 to me for 375. Just need to know if its worth it.
