Default In need of a good compressor.

And not the kind you bolt on top of a motor

I need something that can run two 1/2" Snap-On impacts at the same time ideally aaaaaand it needs to run on 110v, don't want to have to run any 220v

The only way you'll get that many CFM with "110" volts is to have the "110" operate the starter motor on an engine-driven compressor.

Yea, If you plan on running two impact guns at once, none of the 110v offerings are going to fit the bill, at least none that I'm aware of...

I just picked up a 33 gal Craftsman compressor. Very nice unit. I only have a 3/8 impact wrench and a air car jack, and it works great.
next to my 285/70-17 tires

I agree. I learned the hard way.

Snap on makes a SWEET air compressor. It was around $1500 though.I was in the truck with a rep and he started it and we could hold a conversation over the noise. I forget the model #...

I was told ta while back to look into just having an additional big tank for storing air and just route it inline with your compressor. I'll have to see if I can find the thread.

Right, basically a volume tank. Don't know what I'll end up with yet... Who knows I guess.

Yea my oilless one is noisy as hell, but it does get the job done...I've constantly run 1/2" impact guns, air chisels, cut off wheels, etc, and it keeps it's ***** until I run out of air and have to wait a few minutes for the tank to fill up (the one that AndyC3 just posted looks to be the newer version of what I have)

Doesn't say the tank size, wonder if it is 220. . .
