I am getting to the last stages of putting my truck together and one of the last things I need is a tune. I have heard good things about Nelson and would really love to take it there, but it is a very long drive as I live in Odessa,Tx.

Here are the specs on my truck
2000 chevy silverado
swapped from a 4.3 to a fully forged iron 5.7
stock 243 heads
stock intake
cam shaft 220/228 581/588 on 114
trick performance turbo kit (masterpower t70 .96)
air to air intercooler
built 4l60
wallbro intank 340
42# injectors

I am wanting to start her off around 7# or so. I am not sure I want to go with a mail order tune from one of our sponsors because I want to see some numbers(dyno tune).

My final question is who would you take it to?

 

not quite of a drive but black bear should be coming to fort worth the beginning of december.

 

D&G Dyno is Hennessey Okla. Yea its a drive but we've got people from Dallas to middle of Kansas come down. ask for Dewayne

One of our co-owners had a similar setup in his Silverado we tuned a little bit ago...it was a 370ci short-block though...had the Trick turbo kit and all. We can knock that out without any problems!

 

east texas muscle cars is in Longview but they are quite a drive from odessa. But ive heard good things about them tuning turbo applications.
