Where should I move to?

x2 for Alaska... From Georgia, best damn thing I've done aside from figuring out how to get laid and how to drive, and a lot cheaper than both of those turned out so far.
Starting pay for Troopers is over 50k, get on the waiting list though... you'll be there a while.

In my opinion these are not the greatest places to live when you have so many other options around the metroplex. Every city has good and bad area's and some I would just avoid completely.

If you like a medium sized town Waco isn't bad. You get most of the amenities big cities offer with hardly any traffic... Plus it's halfway between Austin and DFW so close enough to visit on the weekends.

Too small, and I'm not a big fan of Houston but thanks for the suggestions.
Cops have feelings too!
Odessa sucks, we have all the problems of a big city with none of the benefits lol.

New Braunfels area hands down. If you have a chance to be there you should not pass that up. I lived in Andrews and it was good with a small town feel but nothing around that was as nice as the hill country. New Braunfels has that small town feel with a awesome scenery and awesome hills, rivers and lakes.

Do you like hunting, fishing, camping, hiking, shooting, skiing, snowboarding, snowmobiling, ice fishing, dog mushing, sightseeing, flying, ice racing, drag racing, autocrossing, or driving?? We have lots and lots of all of that here.
