where to get 160 thermo in dfw?

also what are some good shocks for a 2000 z71?

I've got a Mr. Gasket 180 if you need it. it ran right at 180 degrees in my lq9.
BTW most 160 degree thermostats will run about 175.

both 160* stats I had ran 160 no matter what... just food for thought... Ol' Man... where in Saginaw are you and what do you want for that 180*?

I just went to AutoZone and they also cant get a 160t-stat for my truck...

I forget if it was here or on ls1tech. But ive read that the 160 t-stat is actually worse somehow for our engines. Going with the 180 will be better. But I could be wrong ill try to find the thread

my tuner said he got more power out of LS engines with a 160 t-stat, by 10hp or something like that. i dont know why or how but thats what he said so i have one now
