Default What is my motor worth?

I have a 5.3 complete motor with 80k on it.this is what the motor consists of:

prc stage 2.5 5.3 heads 59cc chamber
custom grind from Patrick G
Beehive springs 660lift
Brand new in the box edelbrock pro flo intake
Brand new edelbrock 90 tb cable
nitrous outlet nitrous kit
pacesetter headers
stock bottom end complete intake to oil pan.

The motor has Ben 7.50's at 90 in the 1/8 on a 100rwhp shot and has trapped 94.those times were before caltracs,bogarts,and on stock truck intake.the motor runs very well.

What is this motor worth?

And to answer your question, probably not near as much as you've got into it. With this market how it is right now, plus the stigma of buying used performance items, I would not expect too much. I think you would be better parting out everything and then putting the block back to stock and selling or selling a short block.

i agree. especially since its a 5.3. ive seen shortblocks with only 500 miles go for no more then $400 bucks. better off just parting it out

Yea I guess I'll be doing that, I was tempted on pushing this motor to it's limits with a 200-250 shot but I rather sell everything for my next build.

[QUOTE=00ChevyScott;4281292]Damn, now theres a typo

You havint seen nothing yet ...... This truck will see 30's possibly 20's with the addition of bogarts,Caltracs,edelbrock pro flo intake on the same 100rwhp shot. Reason I say 100rwho shot is because I have some baby solenoids that have a max flow of 125 so I know I'm not getting the complete 125 from these cheap solenoids.
I need the TNT F2 kit you put in a 150 jets and it's 200rwhp lol

I was talking about your use of Ben instead of been. Not only did you forget an e but you capitalized the B like the name Ben.
