I need some good ole' feedback from yall about verizon wireless. I have had cingular/att for about 8 or 9 years now, and me and the wife are thinking about swiching to verizon. I really like their phones, and people I know like them. Att has been dropping calls and acting weird here lately. My wife wants the blackberry storm, and I just want one with a qwerty keyboard. phone feedback is usefull too.

Ive had verizon for 3 years now....same phone...Motorola E815 with no complaints. For some reason I drop a lot of calls with my friend who has Alltell, but other than that the service is flawless.

 

they have upgrades right. like att has every 22 months, you can get a new phone just sign a new contract.

 

It's every 2 years I think you upgrade, they kept badgering me to upgrade but I'm fine with my phone. I'm not techy when it comes to phones....I don't text either.

 

use the blackberry storm and its great, the I phone is better in my own opinion though, but for service and coverage att i couldnt get a signal in my own home muchless anyone elses, verizon have no issues on coverage wherever iam at.

 

att wants $325 to get out of our contract, so she may get verizon for now and I may wait for the contract to die. are there anymore of the "techy" phones that are nice beside the storm? I do not want the same phone as my wife.

 

Well I just left verizon for ATT. My phone really needs the Iphone for her job. Verizon I have no complaints with them its $175 to get out of your contract or $75 if you go in an actual verizon store. I never lost signal or dropped a call with them. My wife I phone drops calls all the time. Thats the reason we left cingular before. More bars in more places my ace. So with them I have no complaints. As for ATT i love my Iphone that about all I can say.Oh and 18-20monts on upgrade depending on which one of you is the primary on the account.

 

I am verizon, and have heard people bitch about there cust service and what not, but have never had a problem.. Also have dropped very few calls.. ANd have service all the time, anywhere vs people I know with att or sprint..I say make the switch, FUKA att..

 

also, i started my 2 year contract in march 06....so I've been on no contract, month to month for about a year now. I really like it...no bullshit contracts to worry about and out at any time if i choose.

 

I got a storm today .. Said **** it
