I'm not in anyway bashing your tuner...I think Wheatley does great stuff. That seems more like a slight tune issue as far as your track times go. I ran the same converter as you with a 236/242 cam and cut a 1.99 60' with lots of timing cut out off the line. Just thought I'd throw that out there before you give up on that converter

the idle issues and the slow et's have been bothering me, so i started digging around.... one of the wires in my maf was bent pretty bad, not sure how that happened, im always careful with that thing. so, i got another one on the way along with an 02 pcm from wheatley. if this doesnt help the et's and 60' the nitrous will
i dont have it yet, but i will in the next couple of months

I don't think it's the converter. If you only picked up 1 mph after putting in a 224 cam something else isn't right. That converter is definitely not going to hurt performance compared to a 1600 rpm factory converter. Hopefully the maf was the problem.

well, i put a new maf, and a ported tb on and it drives much better at part throttle. it definetly needs some tuning with the tb, though. im going to see wheatley tomorrow for my 02 pcm, so hopefuly this works
