Default Stay away from Texas Performance Transmissions

Ok so from what i've heard from a few people i'm not the only one thats had problems with these people. I've had my transmsiion out bout 7 times since december not including circle d pullin it. I originally Got there competion level Back in November which includes, vette servo, Beast sunshell, 3&4th zpak, borger warner HD clutches, and all bushings are checked and replaced as needed.I even asked if it had aluminum accumalter pistons in and they said yes. I picked it up and thought it should all be fine, installed it nothing. The dumbasses never checked to pump which was what the matter to begin with, bc the teeth broke and they tried to blame it on the servo being installed wrong(two months prior). That was the first pull when i had to take it back so they could replace pump. COuple weeks later i lost 3&4, second pull of trans. About a month after i lost 2nd gear(Third pull) Keep in mind the truck only ran a 16 in 1/4 mile....... And pulled it a couple more times bc of problems. Beginning of May i had to pull it bc i lost 2nd gear, come to find out the PLASTIC accumaltar piston broke. I didnt say anything i just went and got a new Reverse DRum, band, and all new clutches. Two weeks later i lost 3rd and 4th. now the dam pump broke the other day in galvy.....

Well the other day my dad had truck towed to circle d w/o telling me which i knew was gonna be an arm and a leg but he's to hard headed to listen. Quote me 3400 w/ new torque converter. They said all parts were worn, GM SUNSHELL, bushings looked original, rear clutch set looked to not be touched. On top of this crap they said my torque converter is no good when i just got it rebuilt last month and bought it back in february from them.....

So yea now i've just bout had it with the truck and the Texas performance bc first of all they prolly never visually checked the compontents of trans for wear and just put another factory sunshell instead of the Beast which i paid for. They even told me that they've had couple people almost sueing them for problems.

i got some receipts. but usually i've been buying the parts and takin it to them. just found out that circle d pulled it apart i found plastic accumaltor pistons in it when i payed and took them aluminum ones. another thing that pisses me off is that there supposed to be a beast sunshell and its just a stock gm....

yea the owner is kinda rude and thinks he knos evrything. james is one of his employees and he's always treated me with respect. and yea they always post on craiglist.

Performabuilt is the way to go, ive seen plenty of guys run them and they love them. They also have one of the best warranty's out there. If i where to drop the cash on my truck i would go performabuilt
