first brand new vehicle i have ever had, paper plates 2,400 miles. and i get this ******* ****

no idea when or how. little bit of black paint where whatever the **** it was hit, to high for a ball hitch.

250 dollar deductible.
anyone have a body shop to recommend in the south Houston/ league city area? i was thinking about using ron carters body shop since i just bought it from there in alvin 2 goddamn weeks ago.

I used this shop with good results previously. At the time he only worked on newer vehicles. If close to you I would definitely go by their shop and let them give you a quote.

^ was going to recommend the same place. Tim is a good guy. His shop does great work.

a buddy of mine used to work at a body shop now he apparently owns one. caliber collision in Galveston second exit over the bridge. I'm going to let him do it. i asked if they would re skin it or actually work it out, he said a reskin is a last resort.
we'll see how it goes. any one use them before?

I took some pics of there work from the back side. It's still pretty damn lumpy= lots O filler....

What do you think? acceptable repair? allso it may just be me but i feel like the color match is slightly off. they told me they used a water based paint instead of a solvent based paint like the factory uses.

In the location that was damaged in the only way to get it lookin as good as factory and never tell it was damaged would be to replace it. Yes it's more work but it's the right way to do it.
