Default Moving to Plano area...

Sometime next year, the earlier the better, although realistically I don't think it'll be happening before Summer. I'm coming from FL which is a state who DGAF about any kind of vehicle inspection. I'm good with everything except for the emissions. I'm a bit worried about the suburban, it's a BBC with a cam and dome pistons. It does have a custom tune but currently it does not have a Cat. How big of an issue is testing in Tejas and should I start to work on it now?

Otherwise, how many guys in here are from that area? What is the track that everyone hangs out at? How about other things to do? Thanks.

No CEL is or will be on. How about the EGR system? Sniffer test?

It's a 1991, so I guess it'll need to pass the sniffer. I have some other options if it doesn't pass but I'd rather be legit from the start.

Good deal man, I know there are some wild setups running around out there so I figured it wouldn't be bad. I don't see why mine wouldn't pass better than a worn out factory tune stocker when the time comes.

I'm in McKinney. About 15 mins north of Plano. Give me a holler when you get in town, would like to meet a few more people around here who think their trucks are more than just workhorses. Right now it's just me and one other buddy (the gold truck in my pic)
