Wanted to see if we could get a group together to go out this Saturday night to Gas Monkey. They've only been open a month but I've been wanting to go, just haven't had time yet. Has anyone been and if so how is it? Their website has an option to make a reservation but I don't know if its required or not. I'll give them a call tomorrow and find out. If we can get a decent group to come out Ill set stuff up with them if need be. Anyway, post up or shoot me a text if you're interested in going out there this Saturday night. I may...just as Cory said...depends. I was going to see Clutch in OKC, but I may backout.

 

I will be in town for the Nationwide race (free tickets) and was planning on going to Gas Monkey Bar & Grill on Sunday afternoon. If you guys decide to do something then, I'm in!

 

Looks like Sunday might be the better option. Called them tonight and was told they already have over 100 reservations for Saturday night and wouldn't be taking any more. What time on Sunday would be good for everyone? I'm open in the afternoon but the evening is shot for me because we will have the kiddo back by that time.

A little after noonish??? Is 114 West going to be closed this weekend? If so, I'm not going to try and fight traffic to get from Texas Motor Speedway to Gas Monkey.

 

I have no idea on road closures. I live a ways south of Dallas and never really have to worry about traffic. Our new apartment is less than a mile from my office so if I really felt like being not so lazy I could walk or bike to work lol.

 

Closed no...cluster **** yes. That's why I typically leave with 20-30 laps left to beat some of it.

 

And the race starts @ 2pm on Sunday. Traffic is going to be a nightmare up until then. I will just play it by ear and check this thread on my phone.
