i have a complete lq4 shortblock that i bought from thunderbolt in houston. the shortblock is completely rebuilt with 0 miles on it and includes timing chain,stock cam,oil pump, all of the gaskets to put motor together including timing cover gaskets,head gaskets etc. these shortblocks are 1700 plus core at thunderbolt. 1200 is the price.

i can also include 317 heads that have been completely gone threw and cleaned up with a valve job and resurfaced with revised 918's good for .600 lift for 1425. for 1500 i can include 5.3 intake,fuel rails,injectors.

 

Did you end up not puttin it in the truck?

 

An lq4 shortblock means its a 364, so either you have a stock shortblock or its bored .03 over with aftermarket pistons to make a 370 so which is it?

 

X2 and it has 4.03 pistons, are they flat or dished..

 

what pistons are in it? what was the intended CR of the motor?

 

What year? Just wondering if this will work in an 04?

 

i have two of them, the truck still isnt put together but i have everything ready to go! i got a z06 a few weeks ago so my anxiety went away slightly i should have the truck together by march once we get into our new shop in houston.

 

its a 370 cubic inches. its lq4 aftermarket pistons that are .30 over. like the original post states, it is a 370 cubic inch that is completely stock and rebuilt. i got the complete shortblock from thunderbolt.

the compression will be the exact compression of a lq4 with 317 heads.
