wish i was closer. they are making it free so youll come waste your slicks at their starting line so it will start biting. dont expect stellar times because traction will most likely be a huge issue. it will get better once some rubber is rubbed in though

 

REally, the track is finally open? That is awesome, Ennis is just a PIA since it is never open!

I've driven by the track a few times lately. Its a real nice looking place. Also, going by topographical maps, it has about 100' lower elevation than Ennis.

 

Yeah, I don't care for Ennis either. This should be much better since its open Thurs, Fri, Sat and Sun for racing. (and its only 10 minutes from my house)

Plus its IHRA, not NHRA like Ennis.

 

Man it is like 70 miles from my house, damnit, i can never catch a break... That would be an expensive tow ride home if the tranny

That was always a worry when I went to Ennis - 'how the heck am I going to get home if I break something'.

 

Yep, i live on the west side of fort worth... On a side note the DA should be decent tonight.

 

i wouldnt mind coming out, but it looks like rain in the evening..
