thanks to Lousiana roads my y-pipe is not smashed and has a hole in it so I need to find someone local (or at least semi-local) to make a y-pipe for me. It will need to be something that gets done while i wait since my truck is my DD and the car is currently out of comission. I want v-band clamps put in place of the collector flanges, would like to keep my resonators and o2 bungs welded in place. other than that the only request i have is that everything is tucked up above the framerails so i don't have the same problem again.

any recommendations?

 

My old '66 was done by Kinney's muffler somewhere in the Hurst-Euless-Bedford area of DFW, but they are popular and busy.

I need some adjustments/changes done to my 04 silverado and will probably go with George's Muffler off of hemphill near I35 and I20 in Fort Worth. Dropped by there one day some time ago and liked what I heard, but didn't get to actually see any of the work they've done.

 

ours must have had the same dip in the y pipe

i scratched a really small hole in mine and i just had Phil weld me a short peice of pipe in place of the part that dipped down

 

yeah it did anyway, there is a few things i dont like about it so i'd rather just have it all changed while it's being worked on
