Is anyone goin to any of the strips around here.

 

Most go to Ennis for 1/4 mile racing. There are a few 1/8th mile tracks around too such as North Star in Denton and Redline in Caddo Mills east of Rockwall.

 

Stay away from Kennebelly

 

what's wrong with Kennedale?

 

North star is my choice. I try to go every friday. With my wife and my buddies. And might go to Kennedale on sundays. North star is sick. I love that place. Ennis is good as well. North star for the 1/8 mile ennis for the 1/4.

 

I love 1/8 mile racing you can ***** a lot of people off just on the 60' . They have to really out power you to come around you.

 

Kennedale hooks as good as or better than any 1/8 in the area, north star is a nice facility but way to long of a drive for me. same with Ennis, and I've heard that the prep isn't great on street nights.

 

I've had numerous people say they Kennebelly has gotten bad with people not following rules and they will crowd the burnout box and smoke week while in the stands and ****...I go to Northstar

 

That is very true. There is people all over the burnout box. But if they dont get the hell out the way I will run them over no joke. Lmao!!!! I absolutely hate that. I live in lake worth. I have a hell of a drive for both places. But it makes it all worth it going to a nice clean place to have fun. As far as the track hooking it has hooked awesome very time i have gone out there. I had to get out at the line to check my hood(looked like it wasn't shut all the way) it pulled my shoes off 3 time just from the hood to the door. So I think it is prepared good
