I guess you are working at moritz. So do you trust the Guy that is doing the work on my car, and if it was yours would you be satisfied with them just replacing the piston?

If I were doing the work I would of left the piston as is. I don't think it was bad enough for replacing it.

Trust me, the last GM motor we got was an LS6 for a 03 Z0h. Long story short, the camshaft was left loose and didn't make it very far.

It just pisses me off that I have a brand new car with a jacked up motor that now I'm scared to mod because of what's being done. I was planning a cam and longtubes, but that's all on hold now.
