Both trucks are real clean. That's what I been wanting a 6.2 in my 02 RCSB Silverado the LQ9 runs pretty strong but I always wanted a 6.2

Its not the worst looking hood but I'm sure with a little drop and some more color matching like you said, it will go together good.

Guy the builts my motor n puts them in can pretty much make fit anything lol. Dirty30 his a member here.
