Anyone live near railroad tracks?

I did talk to a neighbor over there, and he said that the noise was not too bad. But he also mentioned that he used to live by hobby air port.

I lived very close to railroad tracks for several years. It may bother you a little at first if your house is where they blow the horn, but you'll get used to it and it wont be a big deal. If your house isn't where they blow the horn, it'll never bother you.

I live right by some tracks and the sound has never bothered me, but something to think about is when the train stops and you can't get to the other side(happens to me daily)

I never notice trains at all unless theres a fookin horn...
In Corsicana by my ranch, there are a couple lines, but really I think the slow, quiet rumbling is kinda calming.
Really I'd just wait over there and see

i live about 1/3 mile from the train tracks. the horn is annoying sometimes if im awake, but it dont wake me up if im sleeping. although i can hear the rumble of the engine. i have lived in my house three years and have pretty much gotten used to it.
