I was laid off about 2 weeks ago due to the down turn in the construction industry. I was working as the Assistant Plant manager for a fabrication company. I have sent out about 40 copies of my resume with no hits yet! I am getting desperate, bills are due and my savings is rapidly depleting. I am located in Grapevine, and do not mind having to commute a little for work. If you have any prospects please let me know. I have my resume saved and ready to send. I have experience in a lot of different field's from a class A CDL to customer service, and metal fabrication. Any prospects would be greatly appreciated.

Hit up 1slowZ71, he just got a big contract as consturction manager on a big project down in texas, not sure how close to you he is or if he has hiring power, join a union too!

 

I used to do metal fabrication, kevlar and fiberglass repair. I got out of that a long time ago for easy money. Check into corrections. I got a job with the Federal Prisons 7 years ago and havent looked back. Now I do metal fabrication as a hobby. Prisons are always hiring.
