Default How-To: Headlight trim disassembly 2014-up (GMT1000)

After doing the ol' google search and not finding anything i decided to just try this on my own, and make a thread about how to do it.

Really isn't that hard. What i did was cut up an old insurance card to hold the clips back. Once the card was cut up i gently pry'd back the clips and inserted the card to hold the clip back.

There are clips on the top, side and TWO on the bottom, one of the bottom ones is hard to see

Once you have all the clips held back you will have to start prying on the trim gently as it is held on by double sided tape.

I suggest starting in the center and the doing the outsides, it seemed easier that way.

Once the trim is off you can now paint your headlight trim to match your truck
