Yeah you can add another coat on top of it at any time after it's cured. I got this kit on Ebay for $112 Shipped. After getting the sand paper, tape and plastic sheeting I was only into it $148 I did notice a light spot on one side of the bed, and I touched it up with some Duplicolor Bed Armor, which matched great.

 

Good to know. Seems like a much better option than the $699 I paid for the Line-x in my short short bed. I'm suggesting this to my old man on his truck. BTW you have a heck of a ride, much props.

 

it wont flake unless your prep is ****.. i used a raptor kit off fleabay 5 years ago and it still looks great

 

Great job on the DIY liner, man.

When it comes to this kind of thing the most important part is the prep and often times people don't give it the necessary amount of attention.

If you don't mind posting when the durability has been proven or disproven by time and use for those members who are still "linerless" and wanting an economical alternative.

Once again, gj. I think it'd be perfect w/ an additional coat but just my personal opinion.

 

Would really be nice to have an overall update on how well it has held up to use and the UV rays.

It's held up really well. I don't use the truck for hauling very much but it still looks great it hasn't faded even after sitting in the sun everyday. I did use the truck to move my new tool box (because it was lower than my Sierra and even scooting it on the liner didn't hurt it.
