Default Questions about c5 corvette rims on

Here's the spec. I wrote for mine and provided to parts supplier.

Installing 2001 Corvette Z06 Wheels on a 1991 Chevy C1500 SS454:
• Spacer Depth = 1 1/4" (31.75)
• Vehicle Hub Flange = M14-1.5 x 5 x 5 (127)
• Wheel = M12-1.5 x 5 x 4 3/4 (120.7)
• Lug = Truck has a M14-1.5 lug size and the wheels have a M12-1.5 lug size

I actually found mine on eBay for around $125 for the set of four.

Note, however, that if you slam your truck as low as I did then the front end takes some lower A-Arm work to clear the inside lip on the wheel. You’ll either have to go with a narrower wheel, different offset (can be counted somewhat with the adapter thickness) or modifications to the lower A-Arm (trimming or replacing with tubular.

DO YOU Now What Adapters I Might need to. Fit c5 corvette rims on a 98 chevy c1500 Cheyenne.. That i will be putting a 3 in the front amd 4 in the back

Chrome factory though.
Your 02' had aftermarket wheels. 1. there were never any 19's from the factory on the C5Z's and 2. they were all "Z06 Silver" from the factory, never chrome. The 01 wheels were Alcoa forged aluminum. The 02-04 wheels were cast aluminum made by Speedline. The only color available on the wheels was "Z06 Silver" although the 01 wheels appear darker due to the different manufacturing process.

All 01-04 Z06 wheels were:

Front:

Wheel size: 17 x 9.5
Offset: +54mm
Tire Size: 265/40/17
Back Spacing: 7.38”

Rear:

Wheel size: 18 x 10.5
Offset: +58mm
Tire Size: 295/35/18
Back Spacing: 8.03”

I'm pretty sure the Z16 Z06 has chrome wheels OE. I spent a lot of time just now trying to prove that. They are often referred to as polished, but they are something other than silver.

from the factory. On a C5 Z06

otherwise, carry on

the zo6 rims never came in chrome, the closes to chrome was the 04 polished

if they are chrome with all the GM markings then they was chromed by a supplier or individual but the cars never left the plant on chrome rims, the 2002-2004 Speedline was lighter then the Alcoa 2001 wheels but they was forged color was Argent Silver

the wheels look the same 01 vs 02-04 untill you put them side by side then you see very minor differences if you really look in color and design (i have both sets one from my current 01 and from my last 03)

btw any one who uses adapters needs to make sure and get the correct bolt pattern of 5x120.65 mm (hub-centric) and NOT the 5x120mm ones its been rumored to be a problem in the long run even though its .65mm i learned this when i had spacers made for my front runners

I dont think its a rumor, but it is only about .005" per stud difference. I would be surprised if the spacers had their BCDs drilled tighter than .005" anyway

Case in point, buy the proper ish, from a reputable and trusted source. Preferably American made too

Old thread lol. Fwiw my Electron blue Z with mod red interior had 14k on the clock when I bought it so apparently the wheels weren't stock being 19" rears and chrome according to the experts here (which I'm not). Sure was freaking beautiful. Wish I still had it.
