Default wiring question,EASY

i was wondering, i am installing my e fans, (still)... lol, i dont need to hook a wire from my vcs to my negative battery term. do i ? i think that i should be able to ground it some place else right?

You can take a ground from anywhere on the chasis or any conductive metal part attached thereto

You can do that but be careful and make sure it is a really good ground. Those fans can pull 28 amps and you need a good solid ground to not cause heat issues and draw even more amps, then frying motors or wiring... Flexalite advises not to do it this way. Just my 2cents
