Default wideband

i have an innovate motorsports lc1 wideband. was working perfect. it started bouncing all over the place from rich to lean and now it just blinks 7.4 and wont read anything. all wiring is in working order beause ive checked. could it be the 02 sensor thats bad or something else? anyone else have this problem?

it might be giving you a code with that number, id call the manufaturer and ask em :p

I have the same one, but I've never seen 7.4. I've seen E 4 though, that is a code.

Check your ground. Mine did the same thing till i grounded it to the metal bracket that the OBD II port is mounted on.

Try it.

My friends went to 7.4 and it was the sensor.

mines working fine.. go 2 their website/forum, they have a tech support webpage...

May have water in the wire harness connection. Mine did the same thing and turned out i had moisture in the plug.

did you recalibrate the sensor. On my LC-1 The instructions said to calibrate the sensor once a year. On the XD-16 you press the button three times.

Yes I've recalibrated it multiple times with the same results. Checked all wiring and regrounded all grounds. Still blinks 7.4 and the red led blinks 3 times steadily.

I would call the manufacturer and ask them, no guess work.
