Default What did i do wrong?!?

I did the led swap in my fog lamp switch. Found my positive and negative, ran a 470 resistor on each positive side from board to led. Ground as usual. And this is what happened after about 10 minutes of being lit up.. Smoke started rolling out of the dash. Not good. HELP!!

i replaced my factory fogs with piaa 530 leds. when i run mine its next to impossible to listen to the radio due to so much static... i was thinking i needed resistors but that doesnt seem like the case anymore.
