Default What cross over fq should my subs and speakers be at?

Truck has 2 10" jlw3v3 in sealed box under the seat, with a 1000watt alpine amp V1000 I believe.

Jl TR650-CSI component door speakers with 4 channel alpine amp, same series as the sub amp.

Stock rear 4x6 speakers.

Alpine CDE 149BT- There are so many options

I am able to set the cross over fq and slope for the front, rear, and subs.

The front and rear are currently at 125 and subs are at 80, the subs fail to hit the low lows due to the sealed box so I have moved them up slightly to hit the low mids.

I listen to a lot of rock music, occasionally rap....

Oh the big issue....the rear 4x6's make more bass than my 6.5s up front and for the life of me I can not figure out why. However, the highs are beautiful out of the jl components.

did your factory 6.5s in the doors have adapters to space them out from the door? if so you need to reuse them, that will help with the midbass. also i would run the 6.5s down to about 80hz on the crossover. what size alpine amp are you using? how much power is feeding the 6.5s? also are you running the 4x6s off the amp? if so i would turn the gain down on the channels that are powering them. also with the sub being in a sealed box you can turn the gain on the amp up a little more to get some extra kick out of them.

Hey thanks for the response!

When I bought the truck it had $100 infinities in it so I don't have or know if it had the spacers. I could make some out of MDF.... any idea of the depth they should be? 1/4" 1/2" etc.

The alpine amp for speakers is a MPF 300

RMS Power Per channel into 4 ohms: 50W x 4 (1% THD)
RMS Power Per channel into 2 ohms: 75W x 4
RMS Power Brigded 4 ohms: 150W x 2
Signal to Noise: 100dBA
Input Sensitivity: 0.2 - 4.0V

The 4x6 are factory and are hooked up to the head unit not the amp, to lazy to strip all the rear paneling to replace them or hook up to the amp. They actually make more bass than the 6.5 which means something is jacked up.

The amp for the 6.5's has 3 options, gain/db/fq just like the sub amp.
