I've been running Optima Yellowtops but the quality has been on the decline for several years now. I've had 2 replaced under warranty for dead cells and now the third is swelling (out of warranty). My next battery will be an XS Power for sure, most likely a 14v version since my charging system runs at 14.8v.

Had great luck with Interstate. That's all we run on our equipment at work and I've swapped both my trucks to interstate and have had zero issues. My trucks tend to sit sometimes for weeks since I have a company vehicle, no trouble restarting even after sitting thru several sub freezing nights.

Been using bosch from pep boys for while now, and about to buy a second one to run dual batteries in my 99.... Aside from the battery that i killed sitting out of the truck during the "swap/mod/resto" and the battery my alternator killed, havent personally had any issues....also had good luck with delcos in the past as well.... Optimas have just always seemed overpriced and overrated.... Talking about something that needs ro find a junkpile!!

For me, The Interstates never last as long as the warranty period. The way they prorate you only get credit for a short period during the actual warranty.
I also Saw more of those come back within the first year Vs. a Delco Battery. Not to mention, they seem to drain themselves when sitting for long periods.
I let my VHO sit for a month or longer with a Delco and it still starts no issue's.
Optimas are differently over priced for what they are.
