Still run a delco in mine. I've used napa and interstate aswell.

I think technically there are only 3 compaines that actually make batteries, then whoever can just rename them whatever they want.

Another thread here aswell.

I found the last time I went to buy a battery for my truck that an AC Delco from the dealership was my cheapest option. It also happened to include the best replacement warranty and was 800 CCA instead of the 660 CCA I was seeing at auto parts stores.

I've used Walmart Everstart Maxx (Only the ones manufactured by Johnson Control) with great success. They're by no means the highest rated or best performing in bench tests, but they've never done me wrong.

I've used Optima in all but two vehicles I've ever owned.

I Run the Delco's in mine. I Usually Get 5-6 years out of them.

I have had several issues with Interstate Batteries and there customer service.

I use the Sears Diehard Platinum AGM battery. They're made by Deka IIRC. I did some reading and Deal had a great rep. They've been good in mine and my dad's truck so far. They don't get driven too often lately.

Thanks for the info guys and thanks for the link FFDP.

I've been buying Duralast gold or yellow for years but it seems they die pretty quick. Granted they have a decent warranty but its the fact that I don't know how long its going to last and when its going to die. At home or at work or on a trip.

There is 4 battery manufacturers selling in north America. Johnson Controls ( makes Optima as an example), Excide, East Penn ( Deka) and lastly one most don't know about or forget being Enersys..... who makes Odyssey. I run Odyssey's and toss Delco's in the scrap pile they belong in.
