Unique situation with tune and remote starter disabling. 06Sierra.

I definitely think you're over thinking this. That module probably pulls 2-300mA at idle. Turning your radio off or pulling the ABS or fuel pump fuses will have a larger amperage impact on tune loading than the remote start module

I couldn't say for certain, never met your truck, but I've never met an aftermarket alarm or remote start that didn't have have a box/module/brain/operating unit that couldn't be unplugged. The system has to be able to receive signals and send commands somehow, and that's the unit you should be removing power from if you're that concerned
