Default Two 10s or two slim 12s

As the title states, I need some subs for the NNBS and I'm going to go with a box from subthump. Should I get a box for the dual 10s or dual slim 12s? I have a Memphis Audio 1000.1x or something amp I'll be using and I want subs that I'll be able to push all that the amp will put out.

Also for the fronts I just plan on running the Alpine Type R 6.5s with the tweeter and crossover unit, any better suggestions for the same price?

Thanks.

Whats the mounting depth for the tens? The box i mean....myself i'd go tens if the mounting isn't a problem as the shallow mounts won't take all that amp can dish out.

i would go 10's....i have had 2 12" slim subs and did not like them much(my 8" was about the same as they were).....also 10's will be good for sound quality if you dont want to be super loud...

The box for the two 2 12s only has a mounting depth of 4".

Not sure what 10's you can run with that little airspace to handle that amp. Same thing on the 12's.
IMO i'd run the shallow mounts considering the mounting depth.
Otherwise i'd recommend getting the 10's and run 2x Diamond D3 10's.
But if you do this your gonna have to shave the box a little to make them fit as they require a 5.6 mounting depth.

so get a spacer. they sell em at some audio shops or they arent hard to make. thats how i got my 12s to fit. i agree any 10s you find to handle that amp are gonna be pretty deep also

I guess I'll be sticking with two 10s that will be as close to what the amp puts out. Subthump is the only manufacturer I've found that has made boxes for the NNBS so I'm pretty much limited to their mounting depths.
