Hey i dont know about you but i wouldn't let anyone, unless they are certified to work on your truck, tap into your ignition system.

the company I'm taking it to is well qualified. Just about every dealership in the Carlsbad area uses them. I was just in the shop and they do a ton! of dealer upgrade installs prior to seeing a sales lot. The H2 that was in there had a sticker of 58K and change before electronic upgrades, after it was 97K and change. That is not an unusual thing for this shop (i.e. every once in a while), they do this all the time. I was completely surprised at the amount of dealership work these guys do.

A top notch stereo is nice! I've got...

Alpine 7998
JL XR-653CSi (3 way comps) in kickpanels
JL 13W3v2 in a Stealthbox
Infinity Kappa 462.5cfp 4x6 plates

JL 300/4
JL 500/1
Esoteric Audio 1 Farad Cap
Phoenix Gold wiring

I install my own audio and save $$$$$. You'll be amazed at the clairity over the OE stuff. That sound deadening will really keep the ride quiet too!

You didn't mention which subs you are using....

Nice system. Did you actually listen to the Boston mids/highs though? Just
curious.

I'm running:

Deck: Eclipse CD8454
EQ: Audio Control Four.1
Caps: Stinger and Lightning Audio
Amps: JL Audio 300/4 and 500/1
Subs: Eclipse Aluminum 88120.4 x2
Front Mids: Diamond Audio M661
Rear: JL Audio XR525-Cxi

Just a basic system. Sounds very clean, images well and is decently loud.

What kind of back up camera are you using? I've been wanting one but I can't really find any, let me know how it goes.

yes I listened to the mids highs before purchasing. I know many people don't like the tweet on them.

Back up camera is eclipse, plugs right into the HU.

Subs are Boston Pro 10.5 LF's!!
