Default Truck boxes in standard cab

Anybody got some just plain truck boxes they running in their standard cab truck? What kind of speakers and amp r ya'll running and do you have any spl readings? I had some Alpine Type R's in hatch boxes that i was going to put between the bucket seats, but never went through with it b/c i was wanting an aftermarket center console. but anyhow, yeah if anybody's got a regular cab truck that knocks hard, let me know what kind of setup you went with.

i do. it's a custom box with 2 JL W0 10's, rockford fosgate power series amp 451S that's brigged, factory speakers, alpine tweeters mouted on the pillars up top, and an alpine deck. it's not the bigges and baddest setup around the block but it hits pretty good for what it is. sounds good with all types of music. i have pics in this post....

I liked that setup, really clean looking. The only thing i don't like is it seems like a lot of the bass is getting muffled by the seat, the way i was doing mine is the bass was going to be right at your head, but i don't like how it was gonna take up so much room, but you say that's a custom box, did u build it or have it built? Also, i got 2 brand new alpine type r 10's for sale, know anybody intrested

I took the easy way out. Hopefully someday I'll build something that kicks, but that's after I build up an LQ9 6.0, drivetrain, lower it, do some body work, new wheels and tires, the list goes on...

But here's what I have for now:

I just built my own boxes to the speaker specs and it works pretty good. Here's a pic with the old amp; had to redo it when I changed amps because of the space difference.

it is not that hard if you get someone who knows what they are doing. i have a sound store that i have gone to since before i had a car. so yea. i have a set up that people with big systems get in my truck wow. i think it sound great for a singal cab. but here is what i got. i got 2 10' diamond audio speakers. diamond i great small encloser sub. the amp is a Rockford Fosgate p3001. i am 6"3' so i really could not lose very much space behind the seats and i did not with this set up. hope this helped. pm me if you have any questions
