If ur looking for best sound quality, go with a unpowered head unit, and amp all ur speakers. Its a lot more money but u can do so much more with it then.

they tell you not to run good speakers off of stock equipment cause you will blow the speakers in a matter of weeks. Somthin about fancy speakers cant handle the occasionial dc input from an over exerted stock radio and boom. I learned this the hard way.

Aight, since the only way to get those Infinity's to go all the way is with an amp, ARE THERE ANY other speakers (6.5's and 4X6's) that sound GOOD WITHOUT an amp?

Yea... I think the Alpine Type-S sound good off a deck I put the 6.5's in a silverado and liked it. Also the Pioneer 3ways or Kenwood 2ways would be OK. But still thers SUCH a would of differance between deck and amp power/sound quality

Default Well

Put it this way you can run them right now if you want...

But, you can go with an amp to make them sound better true as stated, go one step at a time.

You have good taste in speakers I can't wait to carry them in April i'm pretty hyped.

Think of it like this almost anyhing is better than stock even the Bose.

What about the Infinity Reference 6012si (6.5) and the Infinity Reference 6412cfp (4X6). They are ALL 4 ohms, and low RMS so can be (sort of) pushed by my HU.

ANY GOOD!? Or does ANYONE know of some other good speakers that sound good and can be ran off an HU.
