Guess I'm missing something. I have 4 outputs? Front (right/left) Rear (right/left) Should be able to control balance r/l and fade front/rear. I can now. Why not with and amp?
Thanks,

Well there is a product that solves the door chime issue with aftermarket head units in GM vehicles.

although i am not sure about the steering wheel controls but it does talk about onstar and i do have some buttons (ok just one but it is there nonetheless) on my steering wheel that has to do with onstar...
EDIT: Upon looking further into the matter you would not retain any steering wheel control no matter what brand of GM-Class 2 radio interface thingy you bought.

It will probalby never sound as good as a quality aftermarket but should sound okay for my older ears.
Anything over where it is at would be an improvement. It sucks.

I'll probably turn it this way and trim the mat. Still can't see it with the seat down. It does touch the bottom of the seat at the higher center. Shouldn't matter and could trim down the feet if needed. Can't wait to get all this in. Gotta get to work.
