Default switched power that's constant while cranking 06 silverado

Alright I am trying to locate a switched power source key on/off that doesn't switch off during cranking to wire up my electronic boost gauge with. The typical accessory power wire that I have found turns off during cranking which throws off the digital boost gauge's calibration sequence. Any ideas?

It's an 06 Silverado without the bose setup.

Thanks!

There should be a pin available in the junction box down in the floorboard. The one right by your left foot when sitting in the seat, check the upper left area of it with a test light, I'm not sure of the exact pin number. And I don't have a pic of it but that's where I tapped power for my gauges. I used some miniature female spade connectors and slipped them over the pins then ran that to a fuse block.

Alright, after more probing I found a yellow wire coming from the steering column that runs into a plug right below the column that stays hot during cranking so I tapped into that one.

Yeah I think I would stay away from the yellow wires too. I don't have a schematic so I was leering of just tapping into any old wire, check that junction block I was telling you about, there are several keyed power pins there to use. I used one for my gauges and another for my cutout.
