Components are hard to recommend, it mainly comes down to what YOU like to hear. I try to avoid recommending components unless it's a neutral sounding set up.

For example, I like piercing highs and powerful lows. I like it clear. Some people like a softer sound, or a harsher sound. Some people don't need loud comps, you know? It's all over the map.

But if you liked them, go ahead! I'm not going to tell you what you like!

Here is what i am thinking....just get two 10's and call it a day and hope they make me happy.
Or i can get a box made same mounting depth but make it hold three tens rather than a amp in the middle of the box. I'm starting to lean towards this option if i can get a ohm load to work out with three subs for the amp.

On the highs amp i have it's rated at 35x2 but it pushes 78rms watts by two at 4ohms.
So i think i'm good on the power there.

Now i went to a shop today and they were talking major Memphis to me. The componet highs sounded great. Very loud and very clean sound even put shed at peak volume levels they didn't break up at all. He was running them on a amp pushing 75watts a channel and sounded great. Little pricey at i wanna say 350ish but i'd be willing to spend it on some great sounding highs like they are.

So what ya think? The highs i heard sounded really great but if you can suggest something else i'm all ears.
Then what would you say on the subs part? I'm leaning hard on the three tens right now but i could also grab two for now and get a box and another sub later down the road?
defiantly would not do 3 10" you probably wouldnt tell the difference, and memphis is some great stuff i have 8 of there amps and 5 sets of there mids and highs and it all jams and sq is amazing. There Mclass is there middle line component set and they shouldnt cost you any more than 200, and there even make them oversized 6.5 so u get a little more displacement and they fit in the doors perfect.

Well i bought me a pair of the Memphis highs today.
Grabbed a set of the 6.5 Mclass Synchronous Components
MC 15-MSYNC6
They sound great compared to the boston components that was in the truck. Handle the power a bit better as well.
I was gonna get two Diamond D3's but they were out of tens =[

Just to certain on wires i need to run....the wires in the truck now look to be wal mart.
I should run a 8gauge to the highs and a seperate 4 gauge to the sub amp?
Highs amp is a 30 fuse amp and the sub amp is a triple 30 for 90 total.

Also what rca's would ya recommend?
I coudn't tell ya whats in my xcab cause it's been almost three years since messing with anything car stero related.

What does the terminal on your sub amp take?

My guess would be run 4 gage from your battery, to a distro block and then 8 gage to each amp, 8 gage can take 400 ish watts, probably 500 on short runs.

Wal mart wire is fine...wire is wire. For RCA's I like Stinger, but only because they are shielded and run alongside my power wire. If the RCA's will be separate from your power wire just and car audio cables will do, no need to spend outrageous amounts of money on them.

The sub amp puts out almost 800rms though? Highs amp is no problem as it only outs out bout 160rms watts.
The power wire he has is fine not cheap crap i was more referring to the rca's.
I doubt i'll take the time to run everything all seperate...i might but who knows lol.
Like i said i have not bought anything or done anything audio in bout three years.

PS: Sub amp accepts 4 gauge highs amp accepts 8 guage wires.
So should i go two power wires? One for highs one for sub or a 4 for sub and a block to run the highs as well on the one wire just break it down to a 8 guage on the high amp?
