i have an 01 rc silverado and was wonderin what system everyone is running and what to do about leg room. please give suggestions

 

I would look at the jl audio stealth enclosures. they are more than enough for a RC pickup.

 

my first truck was an 00 regular cab and i was able to put a 12in sub behind the passenger seat. the passenger only lost about 2 in. of leg room.

 

I had a 10'' Kicker L7 in a ported enclosure and i lost a little leg room but i decided i wanted my seats all the way back so i decided to go with a custom center console with a 10'' JL Audio W7 in it.

 

i had 2 12" audiobahn alumn-pros behind the seat of my old single cab with 2 1000 rms amps to push each sub. thats a pretty big speaker and i only had to pull the seat up 2-3 clicks to stuff it all back there.

 

I just bought a dual 10" pro box for '99 and up regular cabs. It fits behind the seats perfectly, and I didn't lose very much room at all. I'm short (5'7") and luckily don't need the seat all the way back anyway.
