ok so i installed a new head unit into my girls 06 silverado all the speakers work fine but her driverside front i figured it was the harness so i took it put it in my silverado worked fine put mine in hers same problem. so i pulled the door panel off took the speaker out the speaker gets power (used a tester) but no sound. could it be a wiring issue or is hte speaker just gone to hell.

 

If there's power and ground to the speaker and it doesn't work, then either the speaker or the connection to it is no good.

 

ok its most likly the speaker then cause i checked the connector it got power then i connected the speaker the speaker had power but no sound
