I'm wanting to add some sort of sound dampening material to my silvy here within the next two weeks. I definitely want to do the doors, but I'm also throwing around the idea of doing the floorboard and the back wall. How hard would this be to accomplish and how much time do you expect it would take? Also, how many square feet do you think I will need for a rcsb silverado? I read through a few other posts and from what I gathered, secondskin is pretty good stuff.

secondskin and dynomat are the front runners right now....it took me about 3 hours to do my back wall, floor and doors. i used 5sq.ft. per door, 12sq.ft. for the back wall, and 25sq.ft. on the floor (did not cover the whole thing)........

80 feet is more than enough...buy secondskin, send me the rest
Dynamat is decent stuff, but you can get much better stuff(second skin) for much cheaper. Dynamat is the stuff you get when you want to do the patch around your speaker, not for the whole car install.
