Default Someone school me...

Factory stereo for my 03 silv took a poo...time to upgrade...

I have the 6 disc with the Bose factory setup...I just want a cd player of good quality been looking at a kenwood exceleron however you spell it...w/remote and its got the ipod hook up in the front which is what i want....

My question is i have the steering wheel control on my truck...i know that i would have to spend another 100 or so bucks to get the adapter for that to still work but i can live without it as long as i have my remote...

Question is has anyone had any issues replacing the stock cd player when they have bose speakers?

Alpine makes a top notch headunit. I had that with my stock Bose speakers, which I believe have their own amp, so your headunit would be connecting to the Bose amp. I later went with component speakers when my passenger side Bose speaker went out.
